Slide milling

Does anyone know anywhere in NC that does slide milling been looking cant find anywhere posted another thread but reviewed backlash from other members for posting there even though I'm new on here and don't know how to use this like that
 
You found right section, now someone who may be familiar with this can prolly help you. And it wasn't backlash, just poking fun.
 
I have no experience with NC companies, but I have sent 3 different slides to Jagerworks with absolutely fantastic results.

Outside of general quality of the cut, the other big thing to look out for is proper milling of recoil lugs. A lot of the cheaper companies do not mill out recoil lugs for your optics and the mounting screws end up taking those shear forces that they were never meant to take. Again, not sure what the NC guys are doing but I highly recommend Jagerworks, + they have the capability to nitride your slide which is 100% worth the extra cost and time over ceracote in my opinion.

The guy does great work. But he told the membership here he didn’t need us due to his social media channels. Total prick. So a lot of us wouldn’t give him a plugged nickel.

I was unaware of this, makes sense, I gave the guy a good deal on a glock at a gun show, reached out to him a few months back to see about pricing on sending Sig Slides to get work done specifically for the store, he referred me his website.

Sounds about right, I haven’t ever done any dealings with him personally but from the way he acted on here I can tell his is a arrogant douche.

Name my newest P80 build...

I recently finished my third P80 build, and I took it to the range yesterday to test fire it. Now it's gonna be my new church gun... This is the Compact Longslide Hybrid frame. The grip is the same as a G19, but it accepts all of the full size slides... I decided to go with a G17 slide...

Proof is in the pudding. I hate this transpired, but it’s good to know. Had it not resurfaced in this thread… some of us newer members would not be the wiser. Appreciated and will certainly avoid.

I just had one done at the rock guns in Fayetteville. Basic rmr cut on a g17 slide. Dumped my crap on their counter and got it back boresighted 4 days later.

He was. Claimed he didn’t get enough business to justify advertising here so he didn’t renew, but kept pushing in advertisements whenever he got a chance and they kept getting deleted. I don’t think he liked that. But when someone makes a post like this one, they’ve said all they need to say

+1 for Jagerwerks. I bought it during their black Friday sale so it was only $100 for the cut and to nitride the slide. I sent along the optic and they mounted and bore sighted it for free as well. They do fantastic work.

Jeez, glad you linked it so I know not to go there or send buddies there for work.

Just wondering @Alabamacoastie has that slide cracked like he said it would?
