Terminal list

I have really enjoyed all of his books! I read them all and just finished his 5th book in the series. Already looking forward to the next one.

Will be interesting to see the show.

I read the first one, enjoyed it, and have been meaning to get onto the next.

I'm looking forward to the movie.

Same here.

Very interested in the prime show.

Knowing a bit of Jacks motivation in his books, it makes me happy to support his brand and all it's products.

Most might not know this, but the author's son is a special needs child. His motivation is to collect enough wealth so his children can live well after he and his wife passes.

It's a honorable mission, and Jack has done well so far.

I did not know that. As a father of a 15 year old boy with ASD and a 6 year old daughter with... we aren't sure what yet, but some sort of mood/anxiety disorder, I can relate.

This makes me like Jack Carr even more.

I may try to watch this tonight.

Watched the first 3 episodes. It gets less weird after the first two? I like it.

Yes,

He is one of us.

If you like podcasts, tune in to his Danger Close podcast, it's great.

Random side fact, he's a big fan of Dynamis Alliance and their knives/belts/etc. (And vice versa, Dynamis Alliance is always showcasing his books)

I just ordered one of these last night from them since they had a 20% off inventory code.

(I REALLY wanted the Razorback, but they were sold out. Next time! )

Gotta represent in my swim trunks.

I’m almost done with it. If you can get past the first two episodes it gets really good.
She had to stop after the first episode. Too intense. We’ll pick it back up tomorrow. (She does go bed between 8-8:30 most nights)

I saw the first half of the first episode before I fell asleep last night. Not anything against the show, I just saw it last late night after a VERY long day. The first half hour was great; to me the devil is in the deets, and the tactics they used, the way they shot, moved, and communicated, was well done. I am looking forward to continuing the series.

From about middle of the first to the end of the second is choppy and odd, intentionally to showcase his mental state I suppose. I’m fine with developing the character and the plot, but if the third and fourth are the same it won’t be for me.

They aren’t. It picks up after the first 2. Just gotta grind through them.

I did notice and was kinda wondering.

Why is the show so dark.
I am old and already have to squint
Could be your tv. They make newer TVs that handle darks better. Just a thought.

Did any one notice James Reece's tomahawks? They are Daniel Winkler Sayoc tomahawks. Winkler Knives is in Boone.

Really???

Shoot, I'm FROM Boone and had no idea! They also make the Dynamis Alliance knives I was posting about earlier.

I just googled their location and hot dang, I know that place.

They were a gift/special purchase, originally to a ST6 squadron (Red Squadron, who adopted the hatchet as an Indian symbol for the squadron), then I think other SEALs could purchase.

Power watched the episodes last night. I don’t suggest doing that. Watching it all ruined it for me after #4 episode.
Ok I don't get it, can you elaborate?

And ep. 4, dang that was brutal with the sicario huh? Yikes.

I watched them all and enjoyed the series. As said above, the first two episodes are difficult but it gets a lot better. I have never read any of the books but now I might have to.

With the amount of books already out and how quickly Carr is writing them, this could be a great series.

I live in a hole. I am still in the Clancy days for military novels. I had no idea about Carr until I heard about this series coming out. Now I think i will have to read his stuff.

Power watched it the day it came out. Stuck at home cause the wife had covid, so it kept me entertained.
It gets better as it goes along.
Has a couple of twists. I could have done without the last twist. Otherwise, generally well done.

Same her re: Carr and the Reece series. I am reading True Believer now (second book)

Critics hate it, fans love it:

And just how well are all the “woke” movies, series, etc doing? Top Gun made it big while Woke Disney’s Lightyear pretty much has flailed … floundered … flopped. The MSM and Social Media whiners scream about things but the silent majority have pretty much been speaking with their money.

Woke = forced B.S.

no one but woke care about woke. The woke fog gets blasted when bills need to be paid and lies face truth.

People go to the movies to be entertained. They don't want to be preached at, intimidated, or yelled at. Moviegoers know this. The critics have not grasped this idea.
