I'm glad this got bumped up. I'd forgotten about these and here I am looking at 1911's in 9mm. I hope I am patient enough to wait for one.

Okay, so I bought a 1911 in 9mm and sold the 1911 in 9mm.
What's the latest ETA on this new Hudson?

I wonder where you'll find holsters for this new to the market handgun. Oh wait I forgot Two Fools Leather Goods is gearing up to make them. Blueguns? I don't need no stinkin Blueguns.

I'm hoping soon. They've had a few production delays. Always expected with a new company and I think they are refusing to rush delivery of an inferior product.

I can respect that. No shipping fixes to customers later that they know exist now.

Unlike Remington who won't sacrifice quantity for quality.
 
But don't get me wrong I want it yesterday. I told Eli last week it's like my prom date. I've already paid, done the dance and eaten her out. I'm ready to stick it in and she's telling me I need to wait.

I just wish you guys had spilled the beans in time for me to order one myself.
 
It looks like a really cool concept, a bit expensive for my taste but it is still nice to see innovation in the small arms industry. Especially innovation on products for the civilian consumer.

We have Keltec,, at least they come up with different stuff
 
They've hit Gunbroker and most are selling in the $1600s, give or take $100ish. Spirited bidding rocketed this one up to $2500 last night.

Not bad for a pistol with a MSRP of something like $1149.

I am looking forward to them settling down once the deep pockets all have one so that I can buy one.

What makes me feel better is knowing someone who helped in the R&D of it and has shown it to not only be extremely reliable but also fulfilling its design of reducing recoil all while giving the shooter the reliability of a modern plastic fantastic and the ergonomics and feel of a 1911.

Hold on a second while I get my mitts grubby enough to handle it and I'll report back.
 
This looks interesting. May try to pick one up from GB. It's not a revolver, but I really like the idea of new entrants into the handgun market. Probably will wait a bit so as not to pay a super bloated price. I'll bend over backward to get a new gun, but won't bend over forward.
