Order a 9mm and 22LR version and report back!! 😁So basically it is a ported barrel into an expansion chamber. I wonder what how it compares from a db standpoint versus traditional suppressors?
Port erosion certainly has not been a problem with the MP5SD.
Is that difficult? These things are not that expensive MSRP at $599 and $649.all intersect in the grooves instead of the lands?
As close as those holes are together, I doubt it.Port erosion certainly has not been a problem with the MP5SD.
It's interesting - from the pic above it appears that the ports nearer the breach are larger diameter than the ones closer to the muzzle. I wonder if the ports are located so that the holes all intersect in the grooves instead of the lands?
Well, this one is already an NFA item…🤔So now the ATF will declare handguards and barrels to be NFA items?
Only if you take your drill press to the barrel and put a piece of pipe over itSo now the ATF will declare handguards and barrels to be NFA items?
But it looks like those other non NFA barrels. Better pull some laws out their butts.Well, this one is already an NFA item…🤔
Well…it’s gonna reduce velocity. That’s the entire point of the design. 🤓Its an interesting idea. I‘d like to see what effect, if any, it has on velocity and accuracy
Yes. The MP5SD has an integral suppressor with the barrel ported into it.Cool concept. Doesn’t one of the MP5 variants also have ports to reduce velocity of 124gr?
It would certainly add a degree of complexity if you were maching by hand.Is that difficult? These things are not that expensive MSRP at $599 and $649.
