what are gas prices making you do?

I have no knowledge about EV’s, but, don’t you also have to buy and have a charging station installed at home also? I know my old 150A zinsco panel doesn’t have anymore room.
Yes unless you have access to a charge station at the office parking lots. You can plug into a 15A wall outlet but that will take four days to fully charge the car battery.

There are many gas mileage savings calculators now...

I usually set them up so I can figure out difference per 1000 miles.

The 200 miles i logged on the aspire (to be a real car 😂) the past few days saved $27. Enough to buy a happy meal with inflation!

To get the fastest charge, yes, you need a wall charger. However if you have a 14-50NEMA plug you can charge with the mobile cable and get great charge rates

need pics of the K30!
It's not much to look at anymore, rust is taking it's toll. It's an old brush fire truck with a PTO winch, spotlights, and previously a dually pick up bed, now a flat dump bed. Was hoping to haul some rock for a job this spring, as if the $130 tag wasn't enough for a truck that has got so little use in the 20 years I have owned it, it still only has 41K original miles, 23K that I put on it. Now over 50 cents a mile to use it? It's going to stay parked. I'm wondering which is the worst vehicle to own now, it or the 79 Corvette. FJB.

The gas station near me went up 55 cents a gallon between filling up and coming back with a can 15 minutes later.
Because they just learned that is what it will now cost them ( plus their profit margin) to replace what you just bought.

If you get a Gen 1 charger model s charge goes up to to 27ph And the model X is 24 ph.

I had a nema connector to begin with because I wasn’t charging at home. I charged at work for free. The previous owners had a 30 and 50 amp plug for their motor homes.

Senator Forked Tongue Warren is introducing Windfall Tax Profits bill to hit the greedy oil companies, she said if costs go up your profit should not.
Congresswoman Talib says it is not inflation, it is extortion. People who never ran a business making business decisions will doom us all.

It’s actually the idiot voters dooming us all. 😢

That's BS.

First of all, they need to prove profits went up. Just because prices go up doesn't mean their profit margin increased.

Second of all, if their profits DO go up, then they pay a proportionately higher amount of taxes.

Third, there ought to be a bunch of politicians who pay penalties for both being the cause of skyrocketing prices across the board AND for profiting in general as politicians.

I'm considering walking to work.

The map says it's 2.0 miles, but that's only if I don't cut across the church lot.

That sounds like something your wife made you say. 🤣

I thought you had a golf cart.
Or does it belong to your wife's dog?

Wait. The church tresspassed you? or you’re just superstitious.

My 5.0 Coyote in my SCrew F150 averages 20 mpg. Could be worse.

Consolidating trips, so to speak.

Filled up the Tacoma after work yesterday. Parked it between Walmart and Cato's. Bought a case of beer. Put it in the truck, then walked to the liquor store for two bottles of whiskey and a jar of butter pecan moonshine.

30mpg on highway with my Pilot but still...btwn the high gas prices, quadruple price increase and zero availability of primers, I'm really having to pick and choose the matches I'm shooting. Closest one is 80 miles one way and furthest one is 240 miles.

I've been sick for the last week and a half, so all my activities have been canceled. Saved a ton of gas by holding the sofa down and watching bad TV.

I pay $4.69 for 93 octane ethanol free close to my house and get 21.2 mpg out of this if maxresdefault.jpg I drive it like a human being. It's still available for fun too!
