20200405_190922.jpg First drink since Thursday. That could have been bad. Tonight a little Angel Envy and a Flories Rodriguez Tamboril. And a little chicken.

Today I was looking for what I want to sip on tonight. Open the liquor cabinet door and took a look. There was a bottle in there that I can not believe I never opened or tasted. So I figured tonight would be a good time to try it...... Weller's Special Reserve.

Today is my Friday, and on Fridays I like to visit Cascade Hollow.

Too much Jameson.

I’m wondering if it will clean all the schmutz that Hoppes #9 won’t clean off this stainless .357.

had some Torys japanese whiskey, not bad.... friend brought it back from japan, some of the label is in japanese

Suddenly I don't like you guys very much. I am stuck here with my go to V&T. I am saving my 'spensive sippin' whiskey for harder times.

Okay so, I am frugal. Don't hold it against me.

Times ain't getting harder... Drink up. Life is short and beautiful... Enjoy it...

New at my local store. Has anyone tried it? Almost grabbed a bottle today but decided I'd ask here first.

We were doing a little "under $30" shootout by the firebowl last night.

I had never had the JW Dant, the OGD 114, or the Very Old Barton even though I had all 3 sitting on the shelf for quite a while. I had WT101 before but wanted something to compare.

Last night was a little nippy temperature wise and that may have influenced me towards liking the Old Grand-Dad 114 the best out of that group.

But I'll say this.

If you put a gun to my head and made me choose only one "cheaper" bourbon to be stuck with for the rest of my life, that Old Grand-Dad Bonded you posted would be my choice.

I have 5 unopened bottles now, and I get a little nervous looking at that shelf wishing it was more like 12.

I like it a lot.

(And the other half of that shelf contains 5 and 1/2 bottles of Mellow Corn at $10.55 plus tax per bottle. It is my cheapest shelf but still one of my favorite shelves to pull from.)
