What do you carry on a daily basis?

Sig P365xl in iwb holster with weaponlight. Spare 15rd magazine in mag pouch (15rd instead of 12td for ease of access). American Buffalo D2 folding pocket knife. Key ring with bottle opener, keys and that dumb key knife because it actually does well slipping past checkpoints and as a boxcutter. A handheld adjustable-beam flashlight with pocket clip. Fingernail clippers (I get a lot of hang nails). Bic pens. Kubaton disguised as a Bic pen (mostly just to use as a pointy thing and because it was given to me).

I wish I was able to carry that big of a gun on a daily basis, for me it’s always grip length that makes it print, a 26 is probably the biggest I can carry without printing, or a 19 in the winter when I wear more clothes/hoodies.

What kind of knife is that by the way?
That was my daily carry for 3 yrs in Afghanistan. Open or concealed. The Gerber was correctly identified and smaller is a Old Timer 340T. Loved that Gerber till I lost it on a C130 at night. Now have a G19 here.

CD

G43 with spare mag
Or Shield 2.0 45, spare mag

Either/both carried in a CJ leather pancake, with spare mag/s in CompTac single mag pouches.

Kershaw Volt
Streamlight ProTac 1L if I’m not close to the house or truck.

Depends slightly on whether it is jacket weather.
Key fob
Wallet
Phone
Tactical pen/flashlight combo
Pistol
If I have jacket pockets, then a pocket knife, extra mag, tiny first aid kit.

how is the shield in 45 ? I wanted one before but I figured a 45 coming out of that small of a gun would just be unpleasant to shoot.

Keys
Phone
Wallet
and a leatherman of some sort

That's the basis of it all, everyday.
Now I do add things on person in various situations, like traveling, but I try to keep it light and simple typically.

I work from home. So the picture I posted upthread is my "go to town" ensemble.

At home it's more like this:

I switch the firearm up on occasion. Sometimes it's the G43X, sometimes the G43. Today its the 442. I finally got around to making an OWB kydex speedease rig for it.

"Do you feel underarmed with 'just' a Jframe?"

No I do not.......

Surprisingly soft shooter for its size and weight. I have run it in matches as well. I owned an XDS in .45 right after they came out a decade ago and found it to be unpleasant to shoot. Trigger slap, and I didn’t like that course, aggressive grip texture. The Shield is nothing like that in my opinion, although I did take some 220 grit to the side of the grip that rides my hip because I wear it under a shirt in warm weather without a tee shirt behind it.

I've never shot either of them in 45 but have in 9mm. Bore axis on the XDS seems a bit high as well which probably doesn't help.

Ever bought a gun just because of ammo you have? When ammo prices went stupid in the recent unpleasantness, I bought the Shield in .45 because all I had left in that caliber was a full sized 1911 match blaster, but plenty of that caliber ammo.

I prefer carrying the 43, but had the first malfunction ever, and at a match two weeks ago, which is one of the things matches are good for, and realized that after 3-4 years the 43 probably needed some new mag springs. So it got parked for a short time.

Yes, I have. I sold all my .45's once, then found myself with a good bit of .45ACP ammo and components. So I bought a 1911 just to shoot it all up. But then I ended up keeping and carrying that 1911 for a couple years, then I sold it. I'm now without a .45ACP firearm and without ammo. Though I do have a .45ACP cylinder for my .45Colt Blackhawk. I've got components and dies if I ever want to play with that though. It's pretty fun to shoot. Even more so the 9mm cylinder in the .357 convertibles. Factory 9mm like shooting a .22.

Sig Legion P229 SAO. I got extremely lucky when I aquired this pistol. It seems magical. That's the only way I know to describe it. It's by far the most accurate of all my other pistols which are also Sig SAOs. With this particular pistol all I seem to have to do is point and bullets go to my intended location with very little effort on my part. Did the stars align perfectly on the day this one was made? I don't know but I haven't carried a different firearm since and probably won't.

I carry a cell phone, pocket knife of some kind (usually a ceramic one these days), and my Colt 1991A1 with 15 rounds of 230 grain, .45 caliber, super-whamodyne, magic armor piercing, heat seeking, incendiary, explody bullets.

Overkill, I know.

Keys and wallet, too.

At the age of 57, however, I've had to shift things around in my pockets some. Usta be my wallet was in my back left pocket, comb in back right pocket, phone in front right, keys/pocket knife/change in my front right. However, this last year I started having some serious issues with nerve pressure in my back, left hip area. Probably all those years of sitting on my wallet.

Now my wallet is in my front right pocket, along with my keys/knife. Now that nerve pressure issue is completely gone. But it's annoying with my wallet located in front/right, but I can't seem to make the shift to my back right pocket.

I feel your pain! I had the same back issue from my wallet being in my left back pocket. Switched to my right back pocket because I have my knife and holster on the right near the pocket. Life is hard but worth the struggle!

Can’t carry at work without risking a felony charge 😓

Taurus 85UL w/chopped hammer
Speed strip
CKRT Shenanigan
Streamlight Stylus Pro
Keys

Since I've been working from home for several years, 95% of the time I'm wearing sweats and a t-shirt. If I'm leaving the gate, I'll wear real pants and add the normal wallet, lighter and second speed strip.
Depending on where I'm going, I may add the XD45+extra mags in a bail-out bag or even a 7.62x39 AR pistol+mags.

My EDC is as follows;
Left hip Camillus 886 folding knife in leather pouch (22 years constant companion) looks like a Buck folding hunter

Right hip warm weather Charter Arms 357 mag pug revolver
Cold weather Ruger SR1911

Right front pocket Sig 238 .380 cal pistol

Left front pocket 55 year old Old Timer canoe pocket knife & extra 7 rd mag for Sig 238

Right rear pocket tri-fold wallet

RDS'd Glock 19 with spare mag, Ruger LCP-ll 380 in front pocket, Kershaw blade, and a Streamlight Protac HL light.

I have shields in 9 and 45. I really prefer it in 45. Like you stated. Soft shooting for its size. Feels good in hand and has good texture. It can be rough against the skin.
