What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

Decided I wanted a lighter/shorter can for the 16" guns, so I ordered a pair of Polonium K's from Primary Arms who are the only ones that seem to have them in stock.

Picked these up from my new FFL transfer guy, Ken at Silent Arms, between Knightdale and Wendell ($20 per 4473, not per gun).

Won the auction on the Berika Arms SS20 folding 20 gauge for $75! Shipping was a mere $25, and add $10 for 1/2 the transfer fee. Good deal, I think.

And bought the Heritage new from www.shootingsurplus.com Auctions on GunBroker kept getting bid too high, and I would have had to settle for what was available, not what I wanted. For whatever reason I wanted the 6.5” barrel and a .22wmr cylinder included. That came out to $150 shipped plus the $10 for 1/2 of the transfer fee. Decent deal.

Shouldn’t that be turned another 90°??
Pretty sure it’s like that to keep muzzle flip down. At 90 degrees either way, you’ll get a push left or right, opposite the ports.
Yep…it’s closed on the opposite side of those holes. A compensator instead of a traditional brake.

Yeah, I see now that I'm not on my phone that there are no ports on the other side. Strange design.
Not really that strange. As I said earlier…it’s not a brake. It’s a compensator. Designed to keep the muzzle from rising. Which is exactly what that type of design does.

While there are combo muzzle devices out there that have ports on the top and sides, you can also find “top only” compensators for handguns:

And centerfire rifles:

It’s all about the “why” you’re wanting a muzzle device.

lasers......for a 9mm ar pistol

First a red one, then a better red, then a green.

I'm color blind so I'm trying cheap stuff to see which I can see best in all light conditions.

I wonder how blue looks in daylight

Couldn’t pass it up at this price. Guess I’ll see if they ship it or not.

Only reason I question it is the email said gun dealers can buy one to try out before signing up as a dealer…

Finally was able to get my hands on and install the Surefire 5.56 Muzzle Brake I wanted for my 18" AR! Big thanks to @feesix for hooking me up! :D

I know, you're not supposed to bridge your optic mount onto the handguard. It's a temporary thing for handload development and testing, I promise. :)

Managed to score 10 NIW Metalform 1911 8-round magazines for $40. Also picked up 250 rounds of Magtech 230 FMJ today.

Think I may fill them with some Tipp Super 7 kits.
This gave me a chuckle. Your telling and showing the great deal on the 1911 mags with the airweight beside them.

The .38 Special snub-nose revolver is always relevant to any gun discussion. It's always safely ready to go remove brigands, junkies, critters, and looney-lefty Beatles.

Among other things, one of these from Natchez.

It'll be here Monday according to FedEx.

They dropped the price $10 just 4 hours after I placed the order. Kind of annoying.
But I got a couple of 15 round G19 factory mags in FDE for $20 each.

Amazon had a Warne 20MOA cantilever for under $60 so that is coming, too, but a week after the scope.
Ergh.

Could be worth reaching out. Lots of companies will adjust the price if they drop it before yours even ships. Can’t tell if you just have the label, or if it’s in route.

Already en route.

If they follow up with a survey or something, I will reply with a bit of salt. You can get a lot of salt for $10 even these days.

Have a Beretta PMXs on the way from Family Firearms, will file for the $150 Rebate when it arrives.

the recent price drops have me SWEATING.
I told myself before that if it got under 1100 i'd seriously consider it. then i said if it got under 1000 i'd have to buy
there are places you can finagle deals for UNDER 900 now after the rebate is factored in.
that's a far cry from the 1600 msrp it had a few months ago
