What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

Big spending here. Had to get an extractor plunger spring and spring loaded bearing or whatever, so threw on some 4.5lb striker springs and an extended mag release to try.

40-9 lone wolf conversion barrel and a couple of 9mm mags.
I have 7 of their barrels...all threaded, with 3 being 40-9 conversions. No issues out of any of them.

They've dropped the price over the last year or two, and several times a year drop them down to $89...which makes it hard to pass up.

And as info, I once bought a Gemtech threaded barrel since I had a coupon code and it included the thread protector. You win an atta-boy if you can figure out which one of these four came from them.

The nose of the wolf on the third barrel is almost touching the front edge, the other three are further back. Is that the Gemtech?

Wow that's surprising that Gemtech is selling LW barrels as their own. You'd think they would have theirs made w/o markings at least.

I'd honestly never noticed that, and thought you may be right. However, I checked my order history at LWD and that barrel has an invoice. The only one I don't have an invoice for is the one on the far right (threaded .40 G23 barrel).

Yeah, I was a little surprised when I received it, as there's no mention of it at all on their site. They claim they check them to make sure they meet Gemtech specs, and then include the thread protector. At the time they were $170, while LWD sold them for $140 + $15 for TP. I had a 40% off code and figured I'd buy one from them...and it ended up being the same barrel for a better price.

They (LWD) now usually sell them for $105, with the sale price being $90...and depending on the model don't charge any extra for the black oxide/blindmarked options. (Just checked their site and they have both the SS and black threaded G21 barrels for $100; I paid $105 a month and a half ago for a stainless one since black wasn't in stock :()

I have a G22 and should I get a conversation barrel or just buy a Glock 17 barrel to shoot 9mm? Also, where did you find your deals?

You can't (or at least shouldn't) drop a G17 barrel into a G22 and use it. The 40-9 conversion barrel (and 9mm mags) is the way to go IMHO.

Best deals I've gotten are directly from LWD. I know they did Father's Day deals, and maybe they'll do some for July 4? I will say their inventory looks a little spotty at the moment.

Armslist turned out to be useful after all. I posted an WTB ad for something I had a guy come through...

H&R Handi Rifle that is factory chambered in 357 Maximum. One of the few models that has iron sites. This one came topped with a Redfield scope as a bonus...not sure if I'll leave it on or not. Last time I saw one of these for sale it was on Gunbroker and sold for a considerable amount more then what I have in this one and it didn't have a scope.
I've had an itch for a 357 Max for a LONG time and finally got one home. Now I just need to squirrel away $1k so I can get a Blackhawk chambered in it or if I'm lucky, a Dan Wesson.

Using the sales this weekend I ordered a 42" Drago double rifle bag to go with my 36", my 18" DD with PRS stock doesn't fit in the 36". Also picked up another Geissele SSA-E trigger.

A few different box's of decent 22lr to try out, a few boxs of hornady steel match 223, a few boxs of foccih? 223 with the 77gr smk for my long range Ar build. Did a trade with a buddy for a few Pmags for 6 50 Cal ammo cans ( from the PSA sell). Bought a Springfield 84c 22lr rifle for $85. And had to order a new gas block for one of the ARs because I damaged the roll pin hole pretty good.... :)

Yesterday I got 2 magazines for a Mini 14.

Thursday I bought a new and never fired complete Spikes Tactical lower, 5 loaded P Mags and 200 more rounds of ammo. I already have 2 lowers without uppers. WTF is wrong with me? I guess I'm a sucker for a sob story.

Major purchase. Pearce grip plug (I guess technically a "Grip Frame Insert") for my recently acquired G21. Whew...gonna have to replenish the cookie jar.

how do you like it?
I LOVE it! So fun to shoot, and like all my other CZs laser acurate. With the suppressor it almost feels like a negative recoil impulse when the pistol cycles. I'm not sure if it is the low bore axis of the CZ but it doesn't feel like any other pistol I have shot suppressed.

4 boxes of Estate shotgun shells for an upcoming skeet shoot. Switched from RIO to Estates found at WM for they are always cheaper than RIO's even when on sale. They are subjectively softer shooting as well.

650 rounds of Federal Automatch 22LR today at WM.

I still have a crappy stock charging handle on one of my AR's, Ordered an Geissele Super CH to try. Already have a raptor and BCM ambi, as well as a BCM mod 4. Since it was on sale figured I'd give it a try.

I'd be curious how you like it. I was looking at those during the July 4th sale, but didn't jump on it. Not sure if I want to go with that or the Raptor.

The store was back ordered so it will be a bit, I did it this was because I still get the sale price and we are heading out camping for the week and wouldn't be here if i had ordered an in stock item.

Rescued this NIB display out of the case at Gander Mountain in Raleigh,
still had the tags and oil all over it, with two magazines.
