What's for Breakfast?

Not a good one.
Leftover corbread and country style steak. Then two brownies the wife made.
Brownies were great.

Simple eats.

A 3rd of a pack of bacon, scrambled a carton (18) of quail eggs, black coffee.
man I used to eat like that, a diner in MD. would be 6 eggs over easy, 9 pcs bacon, big country sausage patty,
order home fries / onions with brown gravy, 4 pcs toast, 2 lrg OJ, 6-8 cups of java..then hungry again bout 4-5
hours later. My god when I was in my teens it was 4 double cheese burgers, 2 lrg fries, 2 choc shakes couldn't
get over the 200# mark (6'4" here..)
I still eat but have tuned it down some, pretty much depends on what it is. not as active as I once was.
Like someone mentioned If I ate like you guys I'd be dead, fat and happy... that was my line years ago
at least I'll have a full stomach..

today was a yogurt / 2 cups of coffee

Did 3 scrambled eggs this morning with diced jalapeƱos and poblanos. And a couple pieces of toast with some Famous Daveā€™s disgustingly healthy bread. But I did have ample butter.

Like that Famous Daves bread slathered in butter (Amish) with some homemade strawberry Jam or Raspberry Jam...Yum

High mileage country ham, about 1,100 miles on it. Country ham is not found here in Texas. I brought a bunch of ham back with me for myself and my buddy at Katy. Eatin' like a Kang this morning! Yard eggs are a different color than store bought eggs.

Whole wheat wrap with 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, pepper jack cheese, jalapeƱo cream cheese, and hash browns. Heart attack to follow.......

Tried something new since we have loads of blueberries right now. A lemon blueberry Dutch baby, this is the second one this past week. A lot like an egg custard. Sprinkle it with powdered sugar and some pancake syrup and it's similar to French toast. Will be making more.

Breakfast...ok... Boars Head Pastrami, American sharp cheese, no bread ( its just filler ), some "Pickled Beets" with
Hard boiled eggs fermenting with the beets. " used a fork " to scoop them out the jar...sorry no manners here.. its
simple fork in hand jar at mouth level and begin..Stay clear afterwards....the end results. .

Playing with my new Belgian waffle maker. This was my first attempt. They were good. Now I just have to figure out "round".

Tried something different this morning.

Half an avocado, scoop out enough to make room for an egg.

Crack egg in the cavity, sprinkle it with garlic salt and pepper and then bake it for 15 minutes at 425.

Top it with a little smoked salmon.

Nice............the real deal on the cured country ham right there. Please tell me you either made some red-eye gravy for those eggs and biscuits or at least you poured some of the drippings over each dish.

The wife is not a fan of red eye gravy so I don't go to the trouble. But, fear not, I scrambled the eggs in the drippings. I've consumed about 3 gallons of water today. Hahaha

My man. A true Southerner who refuses to conform even in the kitchen.
