Not quite lol. Going with BCM, which is also currently OOS.You also waiting for centurion to restock their barrels? 🧐😂
Is that an OEM Aero deal, or did you have it cerakoted?Picked this up today. 6ARC barrel should arrive tomorrow if UPS can get it together.

It was done by Weapon Works. Is that an OEM Aero deal, or did you have it cerakoted?
build??? ... I thought you assembled them....no wonder..For those of you who aren't AR'd out, whats your next build?
Surprisingly, the ATF moved it from pending research to submitted yesterday, and then approved a Form 1 from February for something else. Hopefully the XM won't take as long as that.
I know it's not a centurion but I went with a Sons of Liberty Gun Works barrel.Ewwwww. Not BCM 😓
Not only are the centurion ones accurate and durable, they have a slotted barrel/gas block that makes it line up perfectly.
If you are shopping around….

Nice. Yeah centurions are a bit pricey. And always OOS.I know it's not a centurion but I went with a Sons of Liberty Gun Works barrel.

I just picked up a 18" Ballistic Advantage for $180 shipped. I wanted as much velocity as I could get without it being unwieldy.Next build is gonna be a 16" or 18" 6ARC...still racking my brain on which length I want.
1" 22lr AR pistol with a 1913 rail instead of a buffer tube? Dress it up like a nail gun?Honestly think I might be “AR15’d out” I’ve been sitting on a Aero stripped lower for a couple years now and can’t thing of anything I want to do with it.
Now there’s an idea..1" 22lr AR pistol with a 1913 rail instead of a buffer tube? Dress it up like a nail gun?
I'm full of ideas. It's the execution that gives me issues lol. I sort of want to do a Glock as a yellow brand cordless hole punch. Now there’s an idea..
I need to post newer pictures in the "AR Build" thread with my updated "CAR-15 Tribute."
I could not find triangle handguards that would use a circle retainer on the front but I did find some wooden ones that would do the trick! Since I was going to paint them I had them send me the raw unfinished forend but I hate painting and really such at it so I've started over three times now. Last time looked pretty good but I still wasn't entirely happy so sanded it off again (trying to get it to look like black plastic is tough).
For now it has a set of skinny round grips up front.
I love the battle worn paint job. Finally finished building the rifle. Form 1 filed 2 weeks ago. Shot it today to test function, with and without suppressor. Ran flawlessly.

I have Rogue Custom Kote to thank for that. Turned out way better than I expected.I love the battle worn paint job.
I’d definitely recommend John Thomas at Retro Arms Works, amazing workmanship and very fast turnaround. My no forward assist carbine, got the upper all packed up but can't decide who to send it to for the pin & weld, and upper assembly.
The lower is already done, and just waiting.
Through my work with 2a bourbon I've gotten to meet some cool people. One of them is nohandedshooter from YouTube. He's a great dude and really cool. I was talking to him about getting a bcm and he suggested a build instead. He's trained with jerry miculek and even beaten him on shotgun stages before. When he talks i listen. Here's his recommendation -

He's the nicest guy!Hunter is amazing. Truly inspiring shooter.
He's got good taste in parts. About $1300 for barrel and trigger!
Me too. I picked up 4 PSA "blem" lowers a few months back. As an aside, two of the 4 had a MINOR scratch and I couldn't find anything on the other 2.Honestly think I might be “AR15’d out” I’ve been sitting on a Aero stripped lower for a couple years now and can’t thing of anything I want to do with it.
