Not entirely true. I've seen a source for everything to convert an AR15 to FA. Albeit the seller can only sell to class 2/3 SOT dealers or as replacements for registered receivers. About $200 worth of parts.Really nothing available that you can stick on an AR that you have to worry about other than short barrels. And apparently bump stocks now.
Auto sear maybe, but they are thousands of dollars, take some knowledge to use/install, and isn’t something anybody is gonna get on accident.

It's not very well-known to the public. I will add that most commercial AR-15 lowers won't accomodate the additional parts without additional machining in the trigger pocket.I stand corrected!
