Yes I was. I hoped for "so bad it's good" but that movie is beyond terrible. John Travolta's worst performance was the best part of it.
If Jarjar Binks wrote and directed a movie, it would still be better than this one.Sooo...y'all sayin' this ain't no "Plan 9 From Outer Space" quality movie, then?
So in the Clone Wars show (canon), the prime minister (?) of Mandalore tells Obi-Wan (?) that Jango is nothing but a lowly bounty hunter and has no idea how he got his Mandalorian armor. Is there a book or in One of the animated series episodes the (canon) story about how Jango and Boba got their armor?

That changed with the Mandalorian. Now, when Boba showed Din his chain code and told him Jango was a Foundling, Jango was therefore gifted his armor by whichever sect adopted him and is now canon. If anyone can chime in and correct me, let me know
This series from 2002-2003 depicts how Jango became a Mandalorian but not specifically how he earned his armor. He was adopted as a foundling by the True Mandalorian sect after Deathwatch murdered his parents. I can see how Dutchess Satine might deny Jango. He's part of a remnant faction from the losing side of the Civil War that put her and the New Mandalorians in power. Jango rose to lead the True Mandalorians AND he killed the leader of Deathwatch so he was possibly a rival for her. #StarWarsPolitics

A focus on Boba.So what will season 3 look like with out the child?
Well that's good news in terms of addressing the short season syndrome.if I’m not mistaken, the Book of Boba and the Mandalorian, season 3 will be 2 separate shows

You bring up a good point. The Star Wars universe is so vast, you sorta have to keep up with the games, novels, comics, shows, and movies to have a full grasp of it all. I’ve learned so much about Star Wars these past few months but the amount of media I still haven’t touched is immense.thanks guys!
‘I need to get on with watching the animated series and read more of the books. There is just so much out there I’m trying to stay with official canon.

Right there with youThe short season syndrome is largely why I have yet to watch the final episode of Season 2.
I'm already sick of seasons consisting of a mere handful of episodes. This is fine for story arcs, in my opinion, but an entire season? Screw that.
I get some of the reasons why this (and others) are short seasons...but that doesn't mean I've gotta like it.

How is Rebels? I want more to watch after finishing Clone Wars but it seems even more kid-ish than CW, especially with the art style. If it has quality episodes like CW, I’m up for it thoughIm dumping disney. i was gonna do that as soon as i finished Rebels season 4 anyhow... ive watched all the good stuff.
but now I can slam the door on my way out.
I thought the same thing about the style of animation....but boy was I wrong. Terrific series. Got me on an emotional roller coaster. Not as much "filler episodes" like CW so every episode had a connection. You won't regret it.How is Rebels? I watched Rebels before Clone wars. I prefer the Rebels animation style because the "uncanny valley" effect from the first few seasons gave me the creeps. I still prefer Rebels. Star Wars Resistance uses yet another animation style, but seems aimed at a younger audience than Clone Wars or Rebels. A lot more "cutesy" moments in Resistance. How is Rebels?
