What's for dinner?

Well, I'd say its asuccessful first run.

Awesome photography skills and my hat is off to you for pulling this off so well the first run. You have the ability of posting the kind of pics that need no caption whatsoever yet remain on topic.

Appreciate it.....my wife is the burnt ends fan but even said it probably was the best of the flats we've done. Is be dangerous with a real camera I think....cause those came off a S7.
Done big cooks before on my WSM, but I literally pulled the PBC out of the box this AM, dumped spme charcoal in it and hung up 24lbs of whole briskets. Came out pretty good but on the next go round, I'd split the point and flat before cooking, the ends of the brisket were touching the coals and had to chop of about 2" of one, the one brisket had a lot of fat hiding between the two cuts that I could of trimmed off before hand.
But Im impressed with the PBC, I probably put 7lbs of charcoal in and still have good heat 7hrs later.

My daughter made chicken tacos for us tonight. It was also her first experience with the instant pot, too.

Three hormone-laden, swole up chicken breasts in a cup of chicken broth with taco seasoning and ranch dressing mix on high pressure for 45 minutes. It yielded some of the tenderestest shredded chicken I've ever eaten.

Landshark and Smartfood white cheddar popcorn for dessert.

Just doing flats is tougher for me. I buy the big boys and just plan on vacuum packing a bunch of leftovers. Burnt ends are awesome. Nice job.

Did some "cat on a stick" on the Pitbarrel tonight. Mix of chicken thighs and tenderloin in some teriyaki marinade. Hung from some steel skewers bent at 90 degrees to keep the meat from sliding off. Didn lose any either.

Wife and little one made some cake and strawberries too. This is the half I delivered to a friend of mine. He's flying solo with a sick son so we hooked him up with ribs, cajun corn, cornbread and dessert. He's a Marine so they went with the Memorial Day color theme.

Good on you brother!

Brisket, collards, and pork n' beans at City Barbecue. It was outstanding.

Broiled salmon with a succotash of red onion, corn, multiple peppers, yellow & zucchini squash, seasoned Cajun-style -- an' all I had to do was show up! Lis did all the cookin'.

No pics... it happened so fast!

Took the leftover avocado, made guac, and used it - along with gouda and fresh tomatoes - to top a couple burgers.

Blue Moon. Jamestown
Full Moon, and they got some good stuff. Love their shrimp and grits, among other things.

Blue Moon is that OJ tasting beer.

Ahhhhhh..............Shrimp and grits. Love 'em.

Last night was taco lasagna...just like lasagna in construction, but between the noodles is a mix of salsa, ground meat (in this case, pork), cheddar cheese and ricotta cheese.

Went to J.Betski's last night...

Duck Confit with potato cake, fried cauliflower, and berries...

Followed by an aged cherry strudel with a shortbread cookie ice cream...

The question is did you have a fried egg on it and douse it in Red Devil hot sauce?

Hot sauce, yes. Egg, sadly no. Forgot to ask and could barely manage to pick up half of it anyway... Que sara...
