I ain’t there yet, but I am trying. My brother and I have a bet which one of us will be the last one on FB. He doesn’t even own a cellphone so my money is on a tie.

We both realize that nobody really gives a shit what we think or do and we don‘t care what they think or do. And who needs to provide extra tracking capabilities to the Feds anyway. And let’s not even get into FB friends. 🤣

It was pretty cool to watch Kroger mobilize generator trucks to run an entire store and a huge refrigerator truck fleet for the stores that didn't have generator trucks during hurricane induced power outages. They can move resources quick.

The refer trailers and transportation is on us most likely. It’s one of our biggest accounts. Not one that I work with though. They just have to foot the bill.

Well the problem with that is for us anti social folks trust is an issue. You show up to my cabin wearing Crocs and the deal‘s off. Even if you check all the other boxes. We all have our issues.

Come On Man. You only have rights when Biden’s DOJ and FBI grants you rights. Half a million dollars will overturn their wrongs in a higher court.

As for cellphone pings at the location that will narrow down suspects but that will not convict a person. The way the government spies on us now they have info on nuts in the Moore County area. That Fort Gordon, GA complex is one hell of a data gathering location. There is a mall worth of cars in parking lots there.

Oh it works and it works incredibly well. If they had a personal phone on them they will know who it is in short order.

To the geo fencing, a warrant like this is not that bad. Specific area and time frame. Known crime. They have evidence at the scene. It's one more part of the puzzle they are putting together. They have a crime and they are searching for a person.

Contrast that with Jan 6. They geo fenced a large gathering, collected everyone's info, then pieced through it for people in search of a crime. I don't like that one bit and it will likely end up in SCOTUS. It's very close to a general warrant, if it's not a de facto general warrant. Those are not legal.

Many vehicles have an embedded cell phone, used for telemetry, OnStar type services, and so forth. These often run even with the ignition off.

and no, it is not lost on me that if i bought fewer guns, i could afford a new car payment.
most of my repairs, which only come up once or twice a year, run less than $1k, which is less than 3-4 monthly payments on a new car. and new car repairs are generally much more costly.
this is the real devious mess behind cash for clunkers program - rich auto people get richer, everybody else gets more poor and tracking added in

I bought the cheap version with less electronics. crank windows, manual locks, no cruise control.
I don't ride with the windows down and i don't have many passengers. at the time, the passengers i had appreciated me unlocking and opening the passenger door for them.
It's not a comfortable car. loud, road noise is a mess, suspension is garbage. but it's still running
 
They used call phone tracking to catch the two illegals that murdered Deputy Byrd earlier this year. Finding a phone that was at both sites at the right times would be pretty convincing.

i think we've missed that window. integrated everything now. I appreciate gps on my phone... but i don't need it. I keep road atlases in the cars and i can usually figure out my directions day or night. except for that pesky noon +/-1hr in dst
