In Virginia now

Ok. That gun the girl has, with the brace and the full length barrel. Are you sure they're one of us?

Confirmed arfcomer notice silent brigade patch.

Kinda odd to have full length with a brace unless there's some law that would restrict her from carrying a pistol. Maybe out of state and no chp.

Sorry bro, to someone from the UK those are American terrorists. I'm sure they didn't care if they were technically correct LARPing.
To me, they look like antifa types anyway. But, they did say they were on our side of this issue. If I saw this in real life, I'd be keeping an eye on them.
I hope someone had the forethought to provide a protection detail for the counter-protesters.

The legislators in Virginia have seen Lobby Day annually for many years, but have never seen anything remotely approaching today's crowd.

The size of the 2A crowd will undoubtedly make an impression and it only takes a handful of swing votes block the proposed gun control laws.

Well............ it's on a .uk domain, what would you expect? Of course they found the goofiest overweight Larperators they could for the main picture.

I like it. Guy looks somewhat hispanic. Armed female. Guess the white nationalists didn't run them off? Or maybe that crowd wants them there. Whether they meant to or not, it chips away at on narrative at least.

Why would she have a KAK Blade on what looks like a rife length barrel?

Not saying but asking, could it be LOP? Women tend to have shorter LOP's and that vest would shorten it even more. If it fits and works, who cares? I don't understand a lot of crap people add to their AR's.

Just hoofed it back 4 miles to truck. There were quit a few that were walking back. The folks that got back early are going back and picking up those that are walking. The shuttle were overwhelmed with numbers of people that showed

Will say that 9.5 miles with a 20lb pack, glock and 4 mags is a days work for a fat 54 old man

Going to room to take a break and catch up on post. Then food and beer

Eh, i could see a scenario of, they only have two lowers. A rifle and a pistol. But a third rifle upper. So they slapped the rifle upper on the pistol lower to avoid conflict/issues about ccw, open carry, transporting, etc.

A touch tactical timmy imo but maybe they just went down the rabbithole of guns n gear and thats what they have?

pretty sure Oathkeepers had volunteers providing security outside the fence as well as the paid PoPo. They didn't abandon everyone like they did in Charlottesville.

Brother I wasnt talking about you, but the person who posted on FB that was screencapped and posted here.
THAT guy was 'a very reliable source...' talking
Yeah, I know.....it’s hard to find any reliable source on anything

I see some libs finally showed up.... Just after lunch.

Just saw a posting on FB about 10 minutes ago that antifa just got there and were being escorted by leo for their safety lol.

My buddy from Boone sent me this link. The article isn’t biased against what they are doing at all.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7907885/Crowds-line-guns-Richmond-gun-rally.html
Who the hell writes this stuff ...
Protester Brandon Lewis, who traveled from Buffalo, New York, proudly carrying a Barrett M82 rifle which can be used by the military to shoot down planes at Monday's rally. The recoil-operated, semi-automatic anti-materiel sniper system is used in the military and was also a favorite weapon of the IRA. He said he brought such a large weapon 'because he can'
... while could take down a plane it ain’t a Ma Deuce type AAA gun.

What I'm assuming is that they saw M2 and ran with it.

This.
If you build a lower as a pistol, you can do more stuff with it, including turning it into a rifle/"firearm" and back
If you start as a rifle, it's always a rifle (unless you register as aow/sbr)
I like to slap a pistol buffer and upper on every receiver I build before I decide what I'm going to do with it.

I’m willing to bet those antifa folks are rethinking their decisions right about now, if anything they’ll wait until the crowd thins out a bit before they start any of their shenanigans, but maybe, just maybe they’ll realize that any intended victims are probably armed.

GUN RALLY DRAWS ARMED EXTREMISTS: A state of emergency has been declared in Virginia as an array of pro-gun, white supremacist, and militia groups have turned out in Richmond, Virginia, for a rally to oppose gun safety laws. Ahead of the event, the FBI arrested 3 suspected neo-Nazis with weapons who discussed launching a 'race war.' At least two militia groups involved in the rally have advocated lynching Virginia lawmakers in recent days. A poll this month found a clear majority of Virginians support stronger gun safety laws, including 84% in favor of universal background checks and 83% in favor of 'red flag' laws.

Not sure about going back after you turn it into a pistol. I thought, once you turn it into a rifle, it stayed a rifle.

Maybe she just likes the KAK?

If it fits and it works, who cares?

I ran a carbine stock on a 20” bull barrel I put together for years. Why? It’s what I had when I put it together and the stock fit me well. Maybe I should put it back on so AR snobs have something to bitch about.
