Just Farted
I got my G19 by using Cabelas points. Paid 0 zero dollars for it.

Me to, I went through the nice collectible gun phase and as I have gotten older I like guns that are just tools. If it gets a scratch who cares. Glocks and AR pattern carbines and a few .22s are all I have after having a huge and very nice collection at one point.Carolinatlc said:A G17 is the first handgun I actually purchased and I still have it. 19 fits me better though and I consider it to be the best Glock ever. I typically carry a G43 or sometimes a G26. I actually think I have all the 9mm glocks and multiples of some except the compensated variety. That said, I've never considered myself a fan boy, just like good tools that work.
Please stop. Now I gotta go buy a 26.Tailhunter said:There is no pistol that I could depend my life on any more reliably then a Glock.
My big paws like the 17. I carry the 19 but seem to shoot the 26 the best.
But still own a 34 and 17L.
Head shots on woodcucks at a tad over 30 yards.Tailhunter said:There is no pistol that I could depend my life on any more reliably then a Glock.

sheesh. Well, I really like how my new 19 and 43 both shoot, and I think the 26 also still qualifies for the BUG class for matches, so what the heck.Tailhunter said:There is no pistol that I could depend my life on any more reliably then a Glock.

The 26 is an ugly little gun, but they flat out shoot.Tailhunter said:There is no pistol that I could depend my life on any more reliably then a Glock.

I am not the "man with one gun" but at least I am the man with one handgun grip angle and control layout ever since I started with my grandfather's High Power

But there's no claim the Ping pitching wedge is the world's finest golf club. I was just playing along, not seriously asking.B00ger said:bigfutz;n48257 said:So why, then, is there a Glock 19 and beyond? Even Glock thought they could do better.
For the same reason Ping makes more than a pitching wedge.
My point still standsB00ger said:bigfutz;n48257 said:So why, then, is there a Glock 19 and beyond? Even Glock thought they could do better.

Ha ha ha ha, molestering....WeepingAngel said:Love the Glock, but since molestering the P320, I don't see myself going back to it. The only factors that Glock has over the Sig (IMO), are a) slightly better grip texture (easily fixed) and b) longevity (which is to be determined with Sig - quite a few folks have hit 10k+ round counts with P320s with no/minimal issues).
I'm not a fanboi of either, but it's created alternatives to the "if it's not Glock it's crap" response.
Yes. They do indeed make potted meat... and I hate them for it. *points to signature*Majicmike said:Climberman;n48247 said:Because they have shot other guns?
Bawahahhahahha,,,,,,,,,Glocks make a fine sidearm. I have not owned one. I have a 19 and had another that I sold. Oddly enough of all the 9mm pistols Ive have owned the only one I keep since the day I bought is a Ruger P85. This list includes what suppose to be some of the finest firearms made,, Sig 229 scorpion, VP9,etc
Try the 41 sometime if you get a chance.bigfutz said:G21... because they don't make a .46. Wait just a cotton-pickin' minute... what's this? A .50???

I have a 19, 26 and 43 and they all have their own uses and applications. I would not be opposed to purchasing a 17 but, the 17 mags work in my 19 so I really don't have a need for a 17, but if I did not have a 19 then I likely would have a 17.fieldgrade said:If a gun is hard to conceal, I personally have limited application for it. And while I'm a pretty good sized feller, and I see the "beauty" of the G17 (that's a figure of speech, because they're all ugly as sin) I carry a G19 and a G43.
I am not what one might call a Glock "fanboy", and in fact had sold the Glock 45s I had, and didn't own any Glocks for several years. I just recently bought these two, and I really like how the 19 and the 43 carry, and shoot. Might get a G26, too.
