Have you played any video games recently? If so, which?

You may not believe this.....I have Never played one in my entire life....ever
Hey you’re honest. If you do have some down time, they have a game for just about anything, check some out if you want to. I know people 65 years old who still game

My stepson, who, I think, took secret delight in having me destroyed in Dark Souls III (apparently not the game to learn use of a controller on, especially at ~ 60 YoA) recommended Jedi Fallen Order.
I really enjoyed it, especially being a Star Wars fan. Great action/adventure, combats fun as hell

I play Call of Duty and Tony Hawk with my kids every now and then. I spent a lot of bored hours playing Fallout 4. I really enjoyed the storyline and taking it different directions on play throughs. Settlement building and the expansion packs kept it fun for a long time.
Yeah my son got me to play FO 4. He loves it and so do I. Drives @Chdamn's Wife a little nuts since we would play it every night. We just added the season pass expansions.

Commonly heard in our house. “Will you be off any time soon?” Yeah in just a few minutes. Just want to finish this mission. “Nothing in that damn game takes just a few minutes.”

The last video game I Played before this was downhill racer back in the mid 90’s.

If you really want to annoy her, get into modding fallout 4! There’s an endless amount of mods even on Xbox.

The stock game is awesome don’t get me wrong, but if you’ve beaten everything and want some more Fallout 4, mod it

We have the season pass mods. Far harbor, nukacola etc. Just started those.

I was gonna say "there's one in every thread"... but your avatar is from a video game...

Waiting for the Brotherhood of Steel to join Fallout 76 then I'll be playing it again. It's much improved lately if you've never tried it. PM me if you're on the PC and I'll give you some twinkage.
How long since you’ve played? They set up the brotherhood base at the observatory, have quests, and other stuff. Marta Branco (Innov Survivalist) on you tube has A LOT of videos on it.

Fudds come in all shapes and sizes, video game Fudds as well. They getsome kind of faux machismo rush thinking choosing one form of entertainment over the other is preferred. Baffles their backwards little minds that people can have multiple hobbies and past times.

A $160 billion a year industry is more than “children that have never grown up”

But hey, what do I know, I’m not the asshole bashing on others hobbies that has absolutely nothing to do with them.

Fudds really do exist in every community
Well it looks like I crashed over that nerve.
Thanks for the compliments.

“Hey everyone, look at me, I don’t enjoy the same hobbies as you! Aren’t I special??”

I still pop in now and then. I like to roam around and look at people's camps. A few months ago after I finished the raiders and settlers reps I stopped playing mostly.

Here are some camps if you haven't seen any in 76. Camp building is the main hobby for some players.

somebody with oculus quest hook this guy up STAT
I could bring my tower and rift S setup... but it's a lot to deal with even under the best of circumstances.

I play Red Dead Redemption II. I mainly just ride around and hunt. I suck as an outlaw in that game.
Loved RDR2. But yeah, the only thing harder than being an outlaw was accidentally being one. Couple times accidentally decked someone hitting the wrong button on the keypad, and it seemed that no matter where I was on the map there was always someone watchin so being a stealthy bushwacker was right out!

RDR2 was great but yes, it had its BS moments. You’d be in the middle of nowhere and bounty hunters would come after and magically find you

Xbox family. I am waiting for Diablo 4 to come out. I bought Maneater, but haven’t played it yet.

Will be waiting awhile on D4. Blizzard said, 'it's not coming out soon. Not even Blizzard soon." That's a really long time.

I've been playing some remastered games as they go on sale for Switch. Most recent is FFX and currently Dark Souls. Dark Souls is a phenomenal game, though it is definitely as hard as everyone says it is. It took playing for an entire rainy weekend for me to begin to enjoy it.

I also highly recommend Witcher 3. It's widely considered the best game ever made. I was very skeptical but I now fall into the believer category.

Yep. The COVID delays on D4 have made me decide to go ahead and buy the necromancer pack in D3.

sure does. my sister was a sims fan. DS was the Dual Screen from Nintendo
Maybe I'm not so old then. I liked that little thing, I wonder where it is? It had sudoku and some word games, if I recall.

PC Master Race guy here. Haven't owned a console since the Sega Saturn (yes, I was the one) and PS1. I did have a PS2 for about 2 days, but then gave it to my kids.

Play Division 2 pretty much every day. Also play Doom Eternal occasionally, Forza Horizon 4 and Motorsport 7. I'm a big fan of the Unreal series and will jump into the now community run UT from time to time.

I'll probably pick up Cyberpunk 2077 if it ever actually gets released :)

heck yeah
sudoku is cool, but have you tried kakuro? it's math. just math in patterns. adding numbers to solve the puzzle.
and picross is good too.

I know this takes me out of nerd/geek territory and puts me squarely in "dork", but i'm okay with that.

I think I'm actually a video game fudd. A glorious PC masterrace fudd.

My 1st PC I ever built just shit out on me the other month, that was my baby. She ran strong for 10 years with only minor upgrades (RAM, GPU, storage)

Trying to balance buying guns/ammo on top of a new gaming PC is rough but I’ve been saving little by little to eventually build a new one

Ages ago I had a little thing called a DS (I think) and it had Sims on it...I guess that might count as a video game?
Hey that is most definitely a video game. I used to have one, great little duel-screen handheld console. I had way too much fun with the DS

I can't seem to find mine, but I know it's here someplace. Might be fun to give it a go again. It was a great boredom reducer.

I have an Atari console remake along with a CD with all the games. Classic pong, tank take and Tempest.
