It's Hurricane Season 2022.

I told mine “nope, it ain’t happening”.
Turned mine on yesterday, but I also came home from work feeling ill. upset stomach. Coworker heated food in microwave, thought I was going to retch into my garbage can. Came home. Puked up a bunch of phlegm. Slept three hours and was ok. Wasn’t going to feel cold on top of all that.

Happy when power came back on and warmed the place up today.

Hope you feel better soon!

We're on the tail end of it here. We lost power about 2 hours ago. All is well. The rain wasn't too heavy for us fortunately.

We had a large part of neighbors poplar tree came down on shed. Wife and I just finished cutting it up and stacking. No damage to shed, thank goodness. It also took out the phone line which we have not used in years. So just rolled it up and hung on telephone pole.

Our power flickered quite a few times, but never went down completely. Lots of wind and rain, but only one large branch down; lots of leaf litter, small branches and pecans all over the yard.
Probably do a more extensive yard check shortly.

The CPI system notified me that the power went out at my biz in Charlotte around 9:30 last night. Still out.

When Duke gets it back on, I'll have to roll down there and reset a bunch of stuff. Hopefully the power outage isn't making the natives overly restless (Druid Hills 'Hood).

We were unscathed, thankfully. A lot of people without electricity around us, but our street is ok. Some trees down blocking a few local roads.

Tree went down in neighbor's yard, hitting their deck. My sister in law doesn't have electricity, nor does my niece.
