I know, but how do you know that this played any part in this act? It seems like you’re just ranting about something unrelated. This act could have been done by a disgruntled employee, by some dumbass in the woods, by a nutty extremist group, but I don’t think it’s likely the act of some urban thug that’s been repeatedly in and out of prison.Ridiculous. Is it necessary to go 4 years to convict on this incident and have one harsh sentencing to change the possibilities of this happening again? You can commit murder in this nation and be out in less than 15 years. Crime sentencing is a national disaster, and in some black communities seen as a badge of street cred.
When perpetrators weigh the results of committing crimes they are not researching sentencing for the act. They base it on a immediate feelings and if they can live with what is the negative side. Declining years of imprisonment conditions criminals to take that chance. They see family and friends who were felons back on the streets and that conditions society to think crime just might pay afterall.
