I think I'm going to pass this year. That's a little far to drive every day.
Agreed! The surface there is challenging for sure.Yeap. And that rock sucks. I hate it for one day club match. No way my heels, ankles or knee can take that for 4 days

I never noticed anything post match from there. But can see what your saying.Agreed! The surface there is challenging for sure.
I will take that under advisement.several days on the rock in shooting shoes is rough. I usually wear hiking boots when working the matches . it makes a difference
Just keeping you in the loopYou tease
Alright lets go, get signed up.
Squad 1 Friday AM
116 limited shootersWell I was thinking about Limited, but I'm not sure there's enough heat to bother...
Can the breakdown possibly be right?
Only if you and four others minimum shoot the division, and it looks pretty grim with 0 registered currently.116 limited shooters
36Gm
Holy poopoo Batman
Imma switch to L10 to get a trophy
Ahhhh..... I was wondering why that many GM Limited shooters were going to be at the match. The GM numbers a wrong. Staff and sponsored spots are held with limited GM. So until those individuals update registration it will be wrong.
I dont think there is that many Limited GM shooters in USPSA totalAhhhh..... I was wondering why that many GM Limited shooters were going to be at the match.
I was actually wondering if that might be the case. Otherwise had to be something really wild going on to have more than the '17 Limited Nats did.The GM numbers are wrong. Staff and sponsored spots are held with limited GM. So until those individuals update registration it will be wrong.
typically 2-3 GMs must participate in the division and place in top of the resultsWhat are the requirements participant wise for the match to count as a classifier for a division?

I'll be there on Saturday with the camera. If you're shooting that day and want me to try to get a few pictures of you, let me know!

Not many reasons to shoot L10 in a free state.I thought that Revolver Division was the redheaded stepchild of USPSA, but it looks like for at least the Carolina Classic that Limited 10 has taken that mantle as their own...
Not many reasons to shoot L10 in a free state.
So go to full capacity and shoot limitedHow about moving from Production minor PF scoring to L10 major PF scoring with a .40 cal pistol without having to change your basic game plan of dealing with stages?
So go to full capacity and shoot limited
If you want the challenge of shooting a 10-rd division then shoot production. 40cal is allowed there. That requires a basic change in stage planning (which is not a tremendous hurdle I know), but switching from Production to L10 might be a bit simpler.
Personally having shot Revolver Division for the majority of my time (and more recently Single Stack), I have found it more challenging to break down stages with 10, 8, or 6 rounds. It is impressive what shooters in Limited & Open Divisions can do on/to a stage, but I have never been drawn to those divisions. To each his own...
The reason to shoot L10 in a "free state" is the same reason you shoot any other division, because you want to...
40 cal, at 130pf, is legalized cheatingIf you want the challenge of shooting a 10-rd division then shoot production. 40cal is allowed there.
L10 is a waste of resources.
This guy knows!40 cal, at 130pf, is legalized cheating
Especially when you declare major.40 cal, at 130pf, is legalized cheating
