Obi-Wan Kenobi

If this is real ill watch it with enthusiasm, but all the Maul dialog is straight out of Rebels S3E20

Evidently except for topics that discuss disney shows. 🤪
I used to love to watch Disney stuff. But when companies start injecting their politics, and their politics are directed at me and what I stand for, I’ll not give them a penny! I know, most of it seems innocent, it deep down it’s just aiding in the indoctrination of our kids and I’m not goi g to fund them in any way.

Oh I get it…

But the people that feel that way always reply in the Disney threads just to say they won’t watch it. Kinda like dealing with vegans and cross-fitters. 😘

Not really, I usually read a lot of threads rather I know what the title’s about or not. Just interjected my .02.

that was a fan made trailer wasnt it - not an official trailer?

Thus the word, unofficial, as the first word of my description. lol

Ran across it the other night and it had the least video that I could peg as pulled from another piece. Which got me intrigued. 6 episodes to be released in 2022. I'm assuming some of the footage might be original but I could be wrong. But nothing official about the trailer.

How do you put @DIsney on yer Ignore List?
Despite their politics and stand on certain societal issues, I find a lot on Disney to watch. I can see how people may find the idea of giving them money distasteful. My wife is ideologically opposed to Disney but I keep paying for it.

The archaeological series’s with Albert Lin are good, most of the Marvel and Star Wars series are entertaining. Most of the Discovery offerings are better than anything I can find on regular TV. To each their own but if I stopped watching channels, buying things, or using services because of the company’s views, I’d be pretty bored and forced to try and manufacture a lot of the things in my life.

Hmmm... mebbe tha's why I've had so little to do lately, after workin' in the garden an' fixin' things 'roun here...

Care to elaborate? I know nothing about the guy, except that "The Eternals" sucked. Hard.

Went to high school with his wife. Ultra-left wing. As in, he makes AOC seem moderate. He Was glad when he thought the Eternals triggered conservatives, and blamed its crap rating and reviews on them.

So far Disney has hit it out of the park on their star wars franchise shows .
So I'll be watching this one as well

On top of that, his wife once tried to lecture me on the difficulties women who give up their kids for adoption go through…while I was >literally< snuggling with a 3 year old (at the time) who’s mother had abandoned him, never showed up to court once to keep him, and tried to sell him to another lady.

Don’t know…

About to watch this, though:

There were female imperial officers in rebels iIIRC. the Inquisitors are from that series also.

nope, they did that for Darth Vader.
The trailer for Kenobi just came on and I got mad at YouTube for making me watch a few seconds of it before I could skip. Amazing how corporate greed can destroy your childhood loves. Next ad was for Star Trek Picard and I actually noped out of that male hating crap show commercial.

Picard himself was always fairly woke in a polite sort of way. They overdid it a bit with the rest of the show though, but not so much that i didn't enjoy it.
