Apparently it was posted on FB last week that they’d start shipping on Monday 5/10.

The Dagger thread over on ar15 had some range reports I read this morning. 60 to 100 rounds on two I saw posted. No issues from those were noted.
 
So the price was not shown due to being out of stock, are they actually any cheaper than a Glock ?

It was $300 (as seen in the thread title :) )

That said, I doubt they'll ship any more of these base $300 units. With everything selling out everywhere it would make more sense for them to produce the higher profit margin threaded / RMR cut ones and not worry about the entry level stuff until a gun can sit on the shelf for a week without selling.

The thread was made over a year ago and was based on PSA's publicity blurb rather than actual pricing, I figured there may have been a change to it.

And yeah there's no way they're going to make money like that. I'm amazed they actually sold any at that price at all.
 
Evidently they had another batch that lasted ~6 minutes today.
 
I know someone that works at PSA and I asked about it and the MP5 clone a few months ago.

It might have been addressed in the post prior to mine, but basically the company they contracted to make the components was not producing components to standard.
He mentioned that there were a few of the pistols that were sold last year, but they had so many issues that they stopped selling them and upgraded all the current owners to the upscale model.
I imagine the issue was finding a company to produce the components at a price that allowed them to maintain their $300 msrp.
Seeing as how some people here have received theirs, I guess PSA got the issues squared away.

The MP5 clone probably wont happen.
Something about a disgruntled employee deleting all the schematics.

Keep in mind, this is all from memory from a conversation I had back in March I think and I am by no means "in the know".
 
So according to a reddit group gundeals the PSA dagger went instock for 3 minutes today. Did anyone who had a pre-order in from a year or so ago get a shipping notification?
 
This happened a few days ago as well. Wonder if they’re releasing batches as they get them completed and they’re just selling out almost instantly. Wouldn’t be surprised.
 
According to the thread on ARF, whoever Chad is is letting people in the FB group know when they’re being released each time. And they’re selling out in a couple minutes with each batch.
 
Their “back in stock” notification certainly isn‘t working (not that I would expect to get on in time and get one, even if I received it).

I remember some discussion back in the post-Sandy Hook shortage days about their notification system. I believe it was the rep on ARFCOM at the time (before Josiah) that said it wasn't a live system, but only updated once/day, then notifications went out sometime after that. I certainly can't ever remember getting a notification from them on an in-demand item.
 
Well the review seemed pretty positive, I'd be willing to give it a try.
 
Does anyone know what their stock schedule will be. There for awhile it seemed the AK-V was being posted on Thursdays around 4:00

That’s how I got my AKV...logged in and checking between 4-6PM. I think it was certain days of the week as well. I assume that’s for all their products??? I think there are some YouTube vids about this subject, though I can’t seem to find them right now.
 
The fb group seems pretty consistent that they post them at 4pm.
 
Got my hands on 2 FDE Daggers Friday before last. I’ve found them in stock by checking the PSA site on Friday around 4 to 5 PM (updated as they may drop as early as 4). Picked them up Friday and put 100+ rounds through each today...right out tha box! No issues and they shot pretty well and I was impressed...this is coming from someone who has never been a Glock fan. Wasn’t super excited about an FDE slide, but they actually look pretty good. I think they’ll do just fine for what I’m looking to get out of them, assuming they hold up over time. So far, can’t beat it for the price!

I even found the grey slide in stock last Friday around 5PM. Would have ordered one, but already had 2 FDEs in hand! If you are looking to get one, go ahead and update your PSA account with addresses, payment, FFL, etc. and be logged in before 5PM on Fridays. Keep refreshing every couple of minutes during that time and you’ll probably catch one color in stock. Maybe the rush on these is starting to wear off as well.

so those slide are FDE, not satin stainless?
 
Are these for all intents and purposes just a Glock clone? Being a Glock fan, at this price point and taking glock mags, it seems like a no brainer to pick up one of these as a beater. I'm not really a fan of PSA, but they are going to sell a boat-load of these. It's like the extar ep9 of the pistol world.

I bet folks will start customizing/ruining (depending on which side you look at it) these Flocks ( fake glocks ) by stippling and such soon and then trying to sell these in the BST thread for the price of a real Glock.
