So PSA is making a Glock clone starting at $299 (DAGR/Dagger)

Got an all black Dagger on the way. Looking forward to putting some rounds through it. Hopefully I’ll get it by the weekend.

Updated my post with timeframes that they seem to pop up on the website on Fridays. Seems to be between 4 and 5 PM.

Lately it’s been just about every day. Different colors and sometimes 2 color choices daily. If you’re interested it’s best to join the Facebook group and turn on notifications. Chad Wylie (admin)will give hints as to what’s dropping that day. It’s always at 4pm.

Oh, didn’t realize they were showing up almost daily now. Good info for those trying to track one down! PSA finally starting to catch up a bit, maybe?

I picked mine up last night and my initial impression is, I really like it. The grip feels fantastic in my hand. Texture is nice, not overly aggressive but sticky. Trigger feels like typical Glock. Trigger shoe reminds me of the FN 509M I had. Slide finish is really well done. My main concern before purchasing was the Gen3 style mag release. I’ve never been able to drop a mag on a Gen 3 without breaking my master grip on the pistol. Not an issue with the Dagger. The sights are useable but I’ll probably switch them out for Ameriglo Protectors. If it shoots as well as I’ve seen in previous YouTube reviews I’ll be very happy with my purchase.

Are they selling them for $300? If so, that's pretty impressive given the climate.
I haven’t checked the site, but I think I saw Josiah post on AR15 that the black was $300 and colors were $350?

Ive clicked notify me but I haven’t gotten any emails and every time I look it’s OOS. Anyone willing to
Let me know when they are in stock?

I saw a discussion within the last couple weeks about their notify system. I believe there was a threshold of at least an hour that it has to be in stock before you’d get an email. Pretty good chance that hasn’t happened with the Dagger.

But it’s been mentioned several times in this thread. 4p.

Super easy fix. Any Glock Gen 3 compatible aftermarket trigger is a drop in.
Nice. I'm still calculating the cost with shipping, FFL fees, possible new holster vs. GSSF coupon for Blue Label G19.

OTOH, Scootch's video did show perfect ejection patterns vs the generally weak ejection of pre-Gen5FS models.

Thank you. My reading comprehension sucks lately.

First mag at 7 yards fired out of my Dagger Saturday at PSA in Denver. I like it so far. If you shoot Glocks this pistol will feel familiar but better IMO. Much better grip. The only thing I’d change there is removing the finger groove. Not a big deal but I’m just not a fan. Sights are useable but I’ll probably replace the front with tritium or fiber optic and black out the stock rears with a Sharpie at some point.

In stock as of now. Total shipped is right at $391. Price went to $350 from $299.

Worth it?

Likely because it's not the black one. Knowing what I know, I'd pay it.
*Edit* Black in stock as I write for 299.

Last time I looked at the black one was in stock but it may not be now. I thought the two-tone gray looks cool. Order placed. I’ll give my review once received

I picked mine up today. All black still 299. I haven’t shot it yet, but I like the feel a lot better than Glock 19. I think the two tone is still worth it for extra price.

If you like Glocks but feel the ergos & grip can be improved on, I think you'll like the Dagger. I even like the little mag release that I usually can't stand nor operate effectively on Gen 3's. I have no issues with it on the Dagger.

Did a little polishing on the trigger mating surfaces tonight. Huge improvement in removing the grittiness in the take up. Feels very smooth now. Honestly feels as good as a Gen5 trigger to me now. A bit more take up but just as good.

I have two holsters from phlster. The pro series is so tight it’s useless and the classic series is tight but useable. If I decide to carry I probably will get a dedicated holster

So they wont' work with a regular G19 holster?
From the above video, he says they work, but tight. So...until you get your hands on one you'll not know for sure.
It all has to do with the Trigger guard. Like the poly80, it's a little different than a Glock

Generally speaking, if kydex, I'd hit it with some heat gun with the gun inserted, then remove the gun while still warm but not squishy. I've solved similar fitment issues doing this.

WARNING: ANNOYING INTERNET WORD-USAGE CORRECTION AHEAD.....

"Fitment" has nothing to do with the way things fit together. Fitments are nouns. You can see them.
A kitchen cabinet is a fitment.

And I thought I was the word nazi.

I didn't know that. Probably picked up the misuse from some moron on the internet.

Reactions: Me.
I know it's a slim chance, but if anyone wants to sell outright or swap for all black dagger hit me up.

Are you having trouble getting one directly from PSA? They seem to be dropping these just about daily now.

I have an all-black one and love it. Just wanted to put it out there if anyone didn't like theirs for whatever reason, color or otherwise.

Finally ran by to pick mine up. I really like it overall. Grip feels great. I'm not a fan of the trigger right now. The face of the trigger feels nice, it's just very gritty feeling on the pull with a good bit of take up and no clean break point. I'll shoot it some as is this weekend and then decide if anything needs to be done. Pictured with the Glock standard, 2nd gen 19.

Also, never had this happen. Chamber flag that came with it dropped inside when I got home to play with it. It was wedged pretty good holding the slide open. Took me a few to get it out without pinching my fingures.
