The Book of Boba Fett

I didn’t understand why he didn’t get his ship with what I assume are more powerful blasters. We had already established that he could maneuver it through the atmosphere when he took out the speeder bike gang.
Two reasons:
1 those droids could have destroyed his ship and
2. When you can ride a Rancor it should be your goto move.

This show sucked.

I’m as big a Star Wars fan as the next but man I unfortunately agree… that finale was unbelievably boring and predictable

Oh well, there’s a reason I waited this long to watch it. I didn’t have high hopes. Now we wait for Kenobi

I liked it. I wasn’t looking for a deep take on all the Star Wars lore and all of the little Easter eggs. I liked the bits and pieces I picked up. I just wanted to see cool space cowboys play shoot em up.

My main gripes with the season were the scooter driving hipsters. They really, in my opinion, fit in with the whole “desert planet” feeling. I get it, they are techno-addicts and the like. But it seemed too much like Grease meets A fist full of dollars.

I also feel sometimes that they should have just jumped in their ships, but I reckon if Boba is trying to move in and make it his home he doesn’t want to level the whole place with the massive firepower the fighters/slave one brings. He did use it to whack the biker gang and the sarlaac so we know he uses it when it fits the job.

All in all, the whole universe should be taken a bit lighter by some…I mean in one scene a dude completely replaces a ladies stomach with robot parts, then the next someone hit in the shoulder with a blaster needs extensive bacta treatment.

Filoni & Favreau…morons? Ha!

It’s very clear some of you have absolutely no idea of the depth of the Filoni/Lucas connection. These shows are a continuation of the original movies, which all have horrible writing and acting. To be able to duplicate that decades later, and pay homage to the original movies as well as borrow/steal from all kinds of other entertainment, is what makes it all genius. 😁

is what makes it all genius.

Yes Morons.
No matter how much I wanted to like this show, and no matter how much I tried to ignore the bad writing, I know it was a stupid show. Everything Boba did was ridiculous. He and Din DID NOT try to get help from Tuskens, as we've been shown they could do. They had a Palace. A palace that it seems everyone has just walked into at one time or the other, but its adefesible point, and being there was certainly a better idea than having a destructive battle in the middle of the town that you say you're protecting.

But we see that he sends the very few forces he has out into the city. All spread out, and all quite obviously. Who could miss the shiny kids? Was it smart to send two 1977 era Monster Manual Orcs alone to patrol the topside with some crappy cleaver weapons?
But the worst was sending a WOOKIE to TRANDOSHAN territory. If you followed any kind of Star wars lore outside of the shows, you would know that this was a bad idea. Especially considering the same lone wookie had just recently assaulted and dismembered some random Trandos.

And the most dangerous person in the show, (as far as I'm concerned) Fennec, leaves the party to do what she should have already done. It was terrible tactics.

And it's worse when you see they have jet packs, and don't really use them. Those Pyk were on the roof tops, but our Mando folk fly out only to land in the middle of open intersection again.
So much for the high ground, aye Obi-Wan?

Then there's the silly insults from the bionic elbow girl to the Most Pelgo girl, and the idea that Mos Pelgo people were legit fighters because they watched the Mando kill the Shai Hulud ... I mean uh .. Krayt dragon.
I could go on... But I don't need to.

It wasn’t even that, it was the whole let’s make this a basically moral gang. Gross!
Bobba Fett is supposed to be the baddest mamajama, so why all the woke goodness?
Straight up merc a few fools that get caught slippin

I watched the first 5 today. The first 4 kinda sucked IMO. Then Mando's back and it stopped sucking and I'm no longer regretting my time invested. Looking forward to 6 and 7.

He kind of has to at some point. And ima go ahead and predict that Mando gets his shiny metal ass kicked, li'l yoda saves him again, and winds up with the Darksaber.
The dark saber is a curse. Like having the mantle of the fastest gun in the west, always someone trying to take it from you.
