Thanks Geezer. The Elsinore's a trip. Pa ding Pa ding with all the blue smoke like God intended.
It also has the distinction of being the one everyone wants to buy.

Nope - hate polishing and I don't mind ridin in the rain to get her washed.

Love the Elsinore, but that KTM has to be a blast to ride!

The KTM is an absolute joy. Fast & controllable, handles like a cat on carpet.
Way faster than me.

The '77 KZ650 I bought in '86 at 16 y/o. It's a miracle I survived into adulthood.

[IMG2=JSON]{"data-align":"none","data-size":"full","src":"http:\/\/img.photobucket.com\/albums\/v206\/Lingenfelser\/oldKZ650.jpg"}[/IMG2]

'94 Sportster I had punched out to a 1200, some headwork, etc. Ran 12.90 @ 105mph. Fun, fun, fun bike.

After riding the Sportie to Sturgis in '96, I bought '99 FLTR as soon as I got home from Bosnia in '98. Great bike, but didn't ride it much & sold 'er off.

[IMG2=JSON]{"data-align":"none","data-size":"full","src":"http:\/\/img.photobucket.com\/albums\/v206\/Lingenfelser\/bagger.jpg"}[/IMG2]

Bought this '05 ZRX1200R when I threw my ex out. Got way further into this bike than any of the others. You think Harleys cost $$$? Try tricking out metric iron some time. This bike scared the crap outta me at least 2x/wk & I finally got tired of scaring myself on purpose & got back on a Harley.

Yeah, that Elsinore is sweet. I need one of those in my garage.

I had a KTM 250EXC that was indeed a blast. In first or second gear, it could accelerate faster than I could think or react. Traded it on my four wheeler and have wished many times I'd kept it.

Ooohhh yea!

Wolfie in with her smooth-talking Italian boyfriend.

How about some V4 Honda love?
Let's start out with a '98 VFR800. And then some pics of the Honda ST1300 in Colorado and Montana. I'm into long distance riding. If we aren't going at least 400 miles, I'd just as soon stay home!

Of course, I'd be remiss not to show off my current ride, a '02 FXD. I'ma ride this one till I can't hold 'er up anymore. Then, she'll get a 'hack & I'll start bringing my dogs with.

Haven't gotten into the motor on this one (yer). Just yer basic slip-on muffs, free flowing a/c & carb rejet & she get's me down the road just fine. Priority on this bike was comfort & handling, which she has in spades. No apex-strafer, by any means, but rides like a Cadillac & that big 16" front is absolutely planted in a turn.

Your handlebars are too low. ;)

Had narrow 14"s on 'er, 'fore I did the FL-conversion. These 12"s put my hands exactly at shoulder height. I'm an orthopedic nightmare after having played paratrooper for half my career, which is why I focused on comfort & ergos with this one.

many moons ago I did have a Suzuki dr400, a yamaha seca550, a kawi ninja 660r. now I have my 2002 BMW 1150RTP cop bike...and a 97 Goldwing that has escaped my files. but this beemer needs a new home $2k and its yours

Some nice looking bikes on here. Thanks for sharing. And, wolfpack65 , I'll admit that I giggled when I read Tail Tidy.

How many people slow down to the speed limit when you get behind them on the beemer?

I'll post these again here. I don't have a pic of my Outlander handy. I'll post a pic of it later. So far, it's only been used for work. But that's gonna change hopefully sometime soon.

LOL Glad you got a giggle. :)

Why Ducati puts all this junk on the rear end, I'll never know, but I do know/knew it had to go.

Very cool. Looks like it'd be a hoot, scratchin' up some back roads.

When I was little, my dad had a ex-flat tracker 650 Lightning bored out to a 750. He said by the time he got it started, he was usually too tired to ride it.

Here they are together.

I'm not crazy about the styling of the "new" V-Max, but bet it's a beast. I hate passing on a super clean, super low miles '98 in '06, but I already had that brutally fast ZRX at the time & just couldn't "justify" it.

Wish I could have fast bikes, but I finally realized that my inner child was a juvenile delinquent & I needed to quit while I was ahead.

Why do Brits drink warm beer? 'Cos they have Lucas refrigerators.
