What's the "weird food" you like?

In my sleep and served over fresh (I make my own) pasta. Where I have issue is finding proper pancetta.
Do you know the backstory on the dish’s name?

Of course. Food is my passion. I try to learn the history of every recipe that I recreate.

Are you one of those people who when asked how to cook something the conversation goes like this:

“Hey, Miss Lilly! How do you make this wonderful casserole?”
“Well, it all started back in 1843 when Grandma Lilly was just a small child in the back country of…..”

And then 10 minutes later we get to the ingredients?

@B00ger, if you ask me for a widely available recipe, I will pass it on. If it is one of my own creations, not so much. I was once more generous until someone published (copywritten) one of my recipes as their own.

Doritos with Hershey’s chocolate. Bojangles boberry biscuits while eating their seasoned fries with ketchup. Oh yeah, and ketchup on a well done steak! Seriously I cannot stand steak sauce, but do like a medium well steak with a dab of ketchup… haha

Cornbread and milk. People in SC and here in TX act like they've never heard of it.
One of my grandfathers standard late night meals was a big tall glass of butter milk with a piece of cornbread crumbled into it. Would drink down about 1/2 the glass and then get a spoon to get at the cornbread that had been soaking up the butter milk.

What get's me the most weird looks in public, a super from Sub station 2, and I open it up, pour the bag of dorritos over it, put the top bun back down and crunch my way through lunch.

At home, one of my moms set meals is Corned beef, stewed potatos, corn bread, nibblet corn and cabbage. I'll take everything but the cabbage put it in a bowl and mix it till it looks like something someone threw up and then wolf it down, it's delicious.

Or just a chip sandwhich, 2 pieces of plain white bread and whatever chips I decide might be good on them. Hint, Doritos = good, generic "onion rings" = bad. But, have you ever put a couple funyuns on top of your burger? That is delicious.

Pineapple sandwich;

Bread, mayonnaise, two sliced pineapple rings, black pepper

Tomato / chips sandwich;

Bread, mayonnaise, sliced tomato, Lays regular chips

I don’t consider it weird but I love escargot and fried frog legs.

Found this in the markdown bin at Harris Teeter. No, I didn’t buy it. What were they thinking???? 😳

Somebody must have been watching Harry Potter and was inspired by the any flavor jelly beans. And by any flavor they mean any, lie ear wax. That’s probably what you’d get.

mmm potted meat. or any of the underwood ones, chicken, roast beef, ham, etc.
This is going to sound weird, but try it, it's great.
Cut up and fry in as little oil as possible block potatoes and onion, drain them good on a paper towel. Butter up another skillet and once it's hot and sizzling put in the potatoes and oinions, load down with pepper, smoked paprika, garlic, salt, pepper and a little more butter, add in a big helping of tomato based pulled pork bbq, get the bbq popping from the heat and then crack a couple eggs over the top and let them cook down in it, flip it over, load down with some shredded cheese mix and then fold it over itself kind of like an omlet.
