Short of the wildcard “heart strings effect” (which no one can predict or account for), there’s no way in hell you can make a rule/law/decree/whatever that instantaneously makes my widget illegal overnight—especially without any compensation whatsoever to forfeit them. Trump is smart enough to know that.

I would think this would endear him to the Liberals and RINO's. Prolly more the Rino's because he can't even breathe without the tards claiming some nefarious BS is behind it.

In the end, by design or by default, there is time for litigation. Hopefully there will be merit found in the cases brought forth and a constitutionist judge, something every judge should be, reads the plain language and renders the appropriate decision. see what I did there?

Not only is 2A in play here, but also 4A and at a big stretch 9A and 10A.

Estimation on when all this sh*t comes to a head....the attacks on liberty by the ruling elite; growing impatient for their desire of absolute authority, the never ending line of do-gooders that want to decide what's best for you instead of YOU deciding for yourself, the financial ruin of the country and the list goes on and on.

As you read through it, note the ATF and Justice Dept have determined that since there is a 90 day grace period to surrender the item, no compensation is required...it is an interesting read, and as I mentioned, no matter the objection, the kings men are always in the right and the people are consistently wrong...and throughout the document they quote rulings by the gang of 9 to back them up, even emphasizing that the “rights” in the Bill of Rights are limited.

How this entire bump stock ban process has proceeded is a farce and a direct shot in the face of Liberty.

I think 9 years is optimistic...

He really doesn’t know any better than that. People keep forgetting that Trump was a New York liberal right up until about 2010. He said what he said about protecting the 2A but he didn’t mean it.

Bump stocks aren’t the only evidence we have of this. Trump is quite fine with taking guns away from people who have been “red flagged” without due process.

Due process comes first...not last. If it comes later it isn’t due process. This is a pretty basic concept that he doesn’t understand. He tried to trade bump stocks for something else and the Democrats changed their mind. Or he just doesn’t give a darn because the NRA gave him all the political cover he needs. Now the NRA is backpedaling claiming that their position is nuanced. Bullsnot. Those who can read can see that their press release was quite clear.

Neither Trump, the NRA, or the GOP were on the side of freedom. They all sided with the Democrats and screwed their constituents without a second thought.

Trump is definitely not the best best president we've ever had. It's not just a peice of plastic. It's a unconstitutional law that sets a dangerous precident
