Went to the range today to try some more 300 BO rounds and the CZ 75 that a friend dropped off.
The CZ 75 shot great except it was about 4" low at 15 yards. The sights are not the best as far as coloring goes. Also, this was the firs time wearing the new shooting glasses.
Next was the pistol 300 BO with 3 different loads. First 2 were using the Missouri 215 grn flat point bullets. I was using close to max loads with AA 1680. Had a problem with the bullets being too short. The flat nose was hitting the bottom of the feed ramp and either getting stuck there or was forced up above the chamber. When I did get one to chamber I had no problem with the bolt getting locked back. Next, I shot 35 rounds of 168 sp bullets without a problem. Got the red dot close to zeroed 25 yards. Then moved out to 50 and everything was High 3" and left 1". Ran out of bullets.
QUESTION: would you adjust the red dot to impact, up 3" and left 1 or down 3" and right 1". I adjust the scope to impact but this red dot seem to be working backwards.
Double check to ensure the Red Dot is not mounted 90 degrees off. Seen that happen a few times. Also double check which way the adjustments are supposed to go. If correct. Just remember once zero'd at 25 the rounds will continue to rise until it reaches it high trajectory and start dropping back to the line of sight and then continue to drop.
