I think you've told me this before, does the Max eat up your knuckles like a SBH does?My Max, possibly the funnest revolver I own.

Next on my "project" list will be fitting this RDW grip frame & leopard wood grip panels to the Blackhawk above, along with a Power Custom Bisley hammer & trigTermite?

I love shooting my SBH since a changed the grip frame. Sighting on the scope I shot 50 full power rounds. My palm was aching but my knuckles was only a little uncomfortable.
"I like the idea and look more than shooting the sa. Lining up that ejector rod on a 22 caliber cylinder really slows the fun down..."
Slower shooting makes you take more time to be accurate,,,!
I chronographed some of my 115 grain lead loads using 4.5 grains of Unique in a 32/20 case and got right at 1,000 f/s. It is a very pleasant load.Charlie, I bought some .32-20 brass to use in the .30 Carbine Blackhawk, but it seems to have minimal space for the rims; some cases will work and some will not. I also have a bunch of lead bullets for it, and plan to load it around 1000 fps or so, at least to start with. REALLY want to get some of the Speer 110 Grain Hollow point bullets to play with, but nobody has anything right now. Hopefully sometime soon..
I got girlie hands instead of gorilla paws. šI have shot several Ruger Super Blackhawks,, with the Dragoon g/f,, and also the .357 Max with the same g/f. Neither one eats my knuckles. I do prefer a Bisley g/f for the really hard kickers though. The Maxi isn't a hard kicker in my hands.
Thank you. I will certainly give that a try. Sounds like exactly what I'm looking for to start.I chronographed some of my 115 grain lead loads using 4.5 grains of Unique in a 32/20 case and got right at 1,000 f/s. It is a very pleasant load.
You might be interested in the Ruger Blackhawk with the Bisley grip.I've always liked how single actions shoot, but for me, adjustable sights are a must, and I'm not a big fan of the plow-handle style grip.
I'm not sure if anyone makes one with a target style grip and adjustable sights, but if they do, It would be right up my alley.

Nice leather! Jackson Leather?
Yes sir!Nice leather! Jackson Leather?
They do great work! Iāve got a couple more that I need them to make. I had them make me a rig for a 1911 a couple years ago and Iāve had them build 2 rigs for some SAAs that I had. Great work but not cheap.Yes sir!
Yeah they ain't cheap. Thought about having them make a couple of scabbards, just because I want them the way I want them. They do great work! Iāve got a couple more that I need them to make. Very nice piece there! I like the .41 Magnum myself. Have two; one Ruger Blackhawk and one S&W. Excellent cartridge.
Just taking time to blow the smoke from the barrel (would like to "proby-slap" the artist, though).

You just gave me a great tattoo idea.
Do you have any space left for more?
Just don't copy that finger in the trigger guard!
