And that is exactly what matters. If you can hit with it and depend on it not failing what else is there to know? I bought a CSX when it first came out. I would not depend on it to fire at a tin can shoot much less a life or death situation. It had what seemed like a 35 pound trigger pull with 18.5 inches of travel (exaggeration but it was bad). Now S&W makes a good weapon usually but this time they really missed the mark. With that said my wife has a Shield in 30 Super Carry. She loves it and so do I.. That is a fine weapon and fine caliber as well. I would not have her trade it for anything because she likes it, she shoots it awesome well and its dependable. That is reason to be excited over any gun.Not very exciting but I'd stick with my S & W Shield 9mm. I can shoot it very well and it's reliable.
