Ok, I know it's difficult to break away from the Cosplay thread...
  • When did the snow start?
  • How much at what time?
  • What do you plan to do for the next 24hrs?
  • The good, bad and ugly points of this storm?

I'm on a well so I'll fill up the bath tubes with water once it starts just in case power goes out. It's spitting rain in Mooresville already so that's not a great thing.
 
All I know is the match tomorrow is canceled. Nothing else matters, unless my office tenant's pipes freeze and burst, then I'm leaving the country.

Had a little sleet for about 5 minutes here then it stopped. Nothing since then.
 
Nothing hear yet.

Plans with a very excited 3 and 4 year old at home I will be sledding or playing in the snow anything to get them out side and rid of some of the energy so they do not destroy the house or me tommorrow!
 
I can hear a little sleet here in the Containment Area. From the looks of the map it will be much later before it gets here in earnest.
 
I have the blade on the tractor and plenty of wood on the back porch and 400+ pounds of rice.....

And a bathroom to paint, i'm good....
 
Nothing here in Lake Normanopolis but it's only 2pm with temp at 43deg. Yesterday I went out and filled up the tank in the truck and got 5gal of diesel. I should be set.

We have a full freezer of ham, brats and leftovers. Forgot the propane! Dang it!!

Light rain in The Quay. Stopped now. Zero parking at Harris Teeter and only 2 cashier lanes open......sheesh
 
I understand it's supposed to start later tonight in the Triangle. We went to Costco last night, my wife went to Kroger this morning. I think we are good to go. I can handle the snow, and we should keep our power, but if any of it ices, there will be some cold nights ahead.....
 
Been snowing here for 20 minutes, grass covered, asphalt driveway still not. The predictions were for around 7. Missed the mark again. Surprise
 
Traffic is going to be a bitch. Everyone is going to want to leave early, and it's just going to be ugly. And the lines at the gas stations? Fuhgetaboutit
 
Nothing here at the coast but the forecast sucks for tomorrow. Gonna run my new FART(Frankfort Arsenal Rotary Tumbler) a whole lot tomorrow and do some reloading.
 
Started about 1:45 on the east side of Asheville, ground is white now. No milk, but I'm currently listening to "The Best Of Bread". :)

Went to pick up a full tank of propane. HT was packed!

Just got in the truck for the trip back and the sleet/frozen rain started at 3:30pm.

Light rain in Cary now.
 
It has begun in Thomasville. Just left Foodlion getting provisions (a cart full of beer) and every register is open and 5 people deep. I've got enough alcohol to kill a small frat house or just leave me comfortable for the weekend.
 
Restocked provisions yesterday. No way I would compete with the procrastinators today.
