Reloaded 100 6.5 CM with 40.0 grns of Varget under a 140 Grn Nosler RMD. Est. 2480 F/sec. Finish trimming a couple 100 223 cases and maybe 30 308 cases.
Never done it.Just experienced my first primer exploding on the press.
Scared the hell out of me.
Oh well, you'll have that.
LOL!...
I thought it was pretty cool looking at rifling that was cut ~150 Year’s ago.

No, did not really look different. Did not see any chatter marks. There was some rust pitting, but I thought it was in pretty good shape.Just out of curiosity, was the rifling noticeably different? Fewer tooling or chatter marks? depth.
Built a "length ladder" in .300blk
I'm reloading for an AR, so I did 3 jumps of .010 and then a jump from 2.165 to 2.185 for the last one.I have never done that, but it interests me. Do you use .001" intervals? 0.002"? 3 round groups or 5?
Not sure I could accurately measure anything at .001 with run of the mill FMJ due to tip variance.
The only one I ever had pop was trying to put a large pistol primer in a small pistol primer .45acp that I missed when I sorted themWere you able to determine the cause? I have never had one "pop" on me even though, on a couple of occasions, I have found them inserted upside down and sideways when loading on my 650.
So what you are saying is that your powder inventory is a little slack. You need to work on that.Scrounged up all the 10mm brass that I had (64 pieces) and sized, primed, expanded and flared. I will be dropping powder in them for some load workups. Based on what I found on the internet, I think I will start with AA#9, but also try Power Pistol, BE86, and possibly 800x (I have all of those in my inventory). I will either buy or borrow some BlueDot to try out as well.
I've got a mixture of headstamps. I have the most of "JAG" which I have never heard of, but also a bunch of PPU and S&B. A few SIG and Starline as well.
Are we going to have to compare pictures of our powder inventory again? Seems someone had to borrow some powder recently, was that you?So what you are saying is that your powder inventory is a little slack. You need to work on that.
Oh one more thing....when are you going to start loading for the new gun that you are bringing home soon?
Try popping a CCI35 50bmg primer. Was deaf for a couple days.Just experienced my first primer exploding on the press.

Where did you find VV N330? I’ve been watching for it for a while now and haven’t seen it in several years.
