I'm on Day 6 of the MASF fasting challenge. Starting weight was 256.1 and I weighed in at 245.3 this morning.
After 5 total days I am down 10.8 pounds.
I'm hoping for another 5 or so down on the next 5 days.
I am going by the guidelines listed on their website.
Breakfast is greens, pre, and post workout mixed with 20 oz of water. I also have a large of coffee after that.
Lunch and dinner is greens and three scoops of the protein (peanut butter for me) in 20 oz of water.
30 minutes prior to a workout is one scoop of pre workout in 12 oz water. During workout is the "post" workout powder in about 20 oz water.
On top of that I'm also drinking about 150 oz of tap water.
Desert for me on three days has been a 12 oz can of La Croix flavored water. 😆
The first couple of days I felt fine. I was getting used to the taste of the shakes. They are pretty bad. The pre and post workout stuff is good. I'll keep doing that after the challenge. On day three I could tell something changed and my energy level has dropped. I think my stores of excess junk has burned off and I'm fully into the burning other shit phase. I get a few hours on the drinks then I crash and need the next one. Based on my fitbit calculator, total calorie input for the day is around 650. I'm looking forward to a warm meal. lol.
